How to check Money Debited but Ticket Not Booked/Failed Transaction Status

Choose Failed Transaction under My Transaction

The Rules Regulation and Process Structure for Failed Transactions/Money Debited but ticket not booked. 

The online payment at IRCTC involves complex system of technical and telecommunication networking integration between customer’s Internet bandwidth, IT system of banks and payment gateways and is dependent on internet connectivity across various constituents.

Any failure or delay in this complex network may cause transaction failure before completion. This can raise the situation of money debited from the account but ticket not booked with the following possibilities:

Reservation Failed Transaction:-

If amount getting debited from customer account and ticket not issued, IRCTC will refund the entire Fare and IRCTC service charges electronically(as credit to the relevant credit /debit card account used for the transaction), but the bank/card transaction charges are likely to be forfeited.
IRCTC's payment reconciliation team works on a 24 x 7 basis, IRCTC offers no guarantees whatsoever for the accuracy or timeliness of the refunds reaching the Customers card/bank accounts. This is on account of the multiplicity of organizations involved in processing of online transactions, the problems with Internet infrastructure currently available and working days/holidays of financial institutions.

Now Book Rail Ticket Without any Worried through IRCTC eWallet

IRCTC introduced eWallet Scheme under users can use as payment Gateway directly.

Good News for IRCTC users who tired and worried about again and again transaction failure, Amount Debit without book ticket and late Cancellation refunds.

As per IRCTC through eWallet the worried regarding transaction may solved 100%.

Lets understand How we can use this scheme. First Learn about eWallet registration.

1) Login your IRCTC website Account.

2) Click on “Click to register now!” link for eWallet registration.

3) After clicking on ‘eWallet registration’ link user will be redirected to verify his PAN Card number.

4) Create a Transaction Password required at the time of booking and reconfirm the same password in the textbox provided.

5) Select the Bank for the payment of Registration Fee from the dropdown list of payment options available.
    Registration Fee is non-refundable.

6) After successful payment, the User will be logged out and a successful registration message is provided.

Now You are successfully register with eWallet.

Now Learn How to fill Money/Deposit Amount in your Registered eWallet

1) Login by entering your user name and password.

2) To deposit the amount in the eWallet account click to ‘eWallet DEPOSIT’ link on the left navigation bar.

3)Select option and fill the amount to be deposited and reconfirm the same account. The amount should be more than the minimum amount Rs 100/- and less than the maximum limit is Rs 5000/-.

4) Select the payment option from drop-down list and Click on submit button for payment.

5) After the successful deposit, successful payment message will be provided.
To check the status of deposit eWallet account, click ‘DEPOSIT HISTORY’ link on the left navigation bar. Enter the profile password and click ‘Go’ button.

How to Check Your Fail Transaction Status on IRCTC Website

Dear Users,

IRCTC started Online Ticket Booking from 1999 to till date on Daily Basis hundreds of IRCTC users are Face this kind of payments failure problems. Here I am describing the steps of How to Check OR Trace Your Failed Transactions through your IRCTC Account.

Please Follow the Steps.

1) Login into Your irctc.co.in account
2) After Login Your Account You are on Plan My Travel Page, The Page look like below image.

3) Go to the My Transaction Option which is after the services option. Look Like Below Image.

4) Now There is Option Refund Status of Failed Transaction. Click On this Option and Check your Failed Transaction Status.


Notes: If your Payment Debit from your Account but ticket not Make than Immediately check through above steps and confirm that your transaction is really Failed or Not. If there is You not Found your Failed Transaction details it means Your Ticket Booked.
