Eastern Coast Railway(ECOR) has advised continuation of services of Super Fast Weekly Special Trainsrunning between BHUBANESWAR-YESVANTPUR-BHUBANESWAR (Train Nos. 02845/02846)for04 Trips in each direction, as per following details:-

Accordingly, Train No.02845 BHUBANESWAR-YESVANTPUR SUPERFAST WEEKLYEXPRESS SPECIAL will depart at BHUBANESWAR at 23-00 hrs. on Wednesdays, with effectfrom 05^thto26^thMarch, 2014(Total : 04 Specials o­nly) and arrive at YESVANTPUR at05-00 hrs., o­n Fridays.

Fifty Four Weekly Special Trains between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad during Summer Season

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during summer season, fifty four Weekly Special Trains will be run between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad as per the following schedule:-

1.Train No. 08501/08502 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Weekly Special Train (26 Trips)

Train No. 08501 Visakhapatnam - Secunderabad Weekly Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 23:00 hrs o­n every Tuesday from 1^st April to  24^th June, 2014 and arrive Secunderabad at 11:45 hrs o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 08502 Secunderabad - Visakhapatnam Weekly Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 16:30 hrs o­n every Wednesday from 2^nd April to 25^thJune, 2014 and arrive Visakhapatnam at 06:30 hrs o­n the next day.

2.Train No. 08503/08504 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Weekly Special Train (28 Trips)

Train No. 08503 Visakhapatnam - Secunderabad Weekly Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 19:05 hrs o­n every Monday from 31^st March to  30^th June, 2014 and arrive Secunderabad at 07:50 hrs o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 08504 Secunderabad - Visakhapatnam Weekly Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 16:30 hrs o­n every Tuesday from 1^st April to 1^st July, 2014 and arrive Visakhapatnam at 06:30 hrs o­n the next day.

N. F. Railway All Set To Boost Parcel Traffic Through ‘Parcel Cargo Express Trains

Buoyed by the success of the first ‘Parcel Cargo Express Train’ (PCET) which was introduced between Guwahati and Delhi (via Kolkata) from November, 2013, the Northeast Frontier Railway has drawn up ambitious plans to increase the number as well as the frequency of such trains in the immediate future.

 The PCET between Guwahati and Kolkata / Delhi has completed 11 round trips so far earning a revenue of more than ` 4 crores for the railway. The frequency of this train will be increased to bi-weekly by the end of this month and further to tri-weekly by the end of April, 2014. Two more PCETs – o­ne in the New Guwahati – Kolkata – Vijaywada – Chennai – Bangalore circuit and the other in the New Guwahati – Kolkata – Itarsi – Ahmedabad – Kalyan circuit are expected to be started by the end of May, 2014 and June, 2014 respectively. Both these trains are expected to earn about ` 50 lakhs per trip. N. F. Railway plans to run about 20 round trips of these trains per month from June, 2014 o­nwards.
