Fortress Check Conducted at Kacheguda Railway Station against Ticketless / Irregular Travel
A total of 564 cases were apprehended, comprising of 417 cases of ticketless travel, 47cases of irregular travel, 97 cases of un-booked luggage and 3 cases of littering on railway premises. A total of Rs. 1.70 Lakh was realised towards penalty from these cases.
South Central Railway conducted a Fortress Check against ticketless and irregular travel at Kacheguda Railway station on 8th January, 2014. The Check was conducted under the direct supervision of Shri A.Bharat Bhushan, Chief Commercial Manager.
50 Squad Travelling Ticket Examiners and 11 Railway Protection Force Personnel were involved in the check. During the fortress check, all the exit and entry points at Kacheguda Railway station were plugged. 94 trains including Express Trains, Passenger Trains and MMTS Trains were checked.
