Best working Personal Computer.  
Standard time setting for irctc.

Best Payment Option SBI Net Banking.


I have all the above but still I am unable to book a Tatkal Ticket.

Mostly we all have knowledge about Indian Railway's Tatkal Quota online Booking through website. But steel many fact may you don't know.

The Most Important Rules about Tatkal Ticket Booking.

1. IRCTC Tatkal Tickets Can be Booked Only One Day Prior to the Date of Your Journey. Example train leaving on 6th, Tatkal Booking will Commence at 10 AM on 5th.
2. (For Counter Booking only) No duplicate Tatkal tickets shall be issued. Duplicate Tatkal tickets shall be issued only in exceptional cases on payment of full fare including Tatkal charges. 
3. IRCTC Tatkal Tickets Can be Booked On or After 10:00 am.
4. No Refund will be Given by railway to a Confirmed TATKAL Ticket.You will be Refunded money only if the Ticket will be in Waiting List.
5. Maximum of four passengers per PNR can be booked on Tatkal e-tickets. (Per Form = Per PNR)
6. Senior citizen concession is not allowed in Tatkal Quota. 
7. The facility of change of name is not permitted on the bookings made under Tatkal scheme.
8. Must Keep always any one of the following Original ID Card with you other wise you will be treated like without Ticket. 

Driving License, Passport, Pan Card, Voter Identity Card, Central/State Government issued ID Card, Student Identity Card, Nationalised Bank Passbook, Credit Cards issued by Banks, Unique Identification Card "Aadhaar"

4) Must Save All the details like ID card, passenger Name, Age, Mobile number etc under Mozilla auto page before the booking time. Example Save details within 09.30 AM to 09.45 AM.

5) Use best payment option. I prefer SBI Net Banking.

6) Login 2 or More irctc page with another username. (Must remembered if you use same ID for open other irctc page it's logout automatically) For this make ID of your other family members and keep with you at the time of the process.

7) Must Match Computer Time and the Railway Time. (Must Remembered the exact time is very important for this process).
8) After Login Keep Refreshing the Website in Every 3 Minutes. (Click on plan my travel or search option frequently to avoid page expired).
9) Use Delhi Based Proxies For Faster or Quicker Access to IRCTC Website.
