Dear IRCTC how can one book for 19th special train from Howrah to Yeshwantpur the pdf said ARP is 15 days I have been trying in vain logging in at 12.30 midnight and thereafter early morning it continues to say dates outside ARP. Will the train definitely run on the specified date and can I afford to take the risk and wait . Also is it likely that the fare would be revised downwards closer to the date of the journey ?

As per your date may be 17/05 is the booking date for you. Also it's depend on local authority regarding booking.

ReplyDeleteYes you are right, Food charges include with the total booking fare in almost all premium trains.
As the time of booking in the passenger information page there is option available of Veg OR Non Veg. As per your booking details you will get the foods.
As my Experience for Veg option they provide in morning 1 bottle + Tea + breakfast (Halwa etc) and then lunch. And 1 bottle and dinner in night time. But i recommended keep some food with you because they provide very limited quantity.

DeleteIn premium trains ticket can be only booked through Origin stations from and upto. Means if you want journey in this train you have to book ticket upto Nizamuddin station.
Example: Train started (Origin station) from Pune and (upto origin) last Station is Nizamuddin. You must book ticket upto Nizamuddin.

DeleteAs per Rules, Cancellation not allowed in premium trains. If possible forget about cancellation, maybe the no refund if you cancelled your ticket.
And you got seat and other details once chart prepared. In my point of view no need to cancellation if the RAC is only reason.

DeleteYes, It is true that the amount shows 2401. Price increased as available seats decreased (ex. seats 500 Fare Near about 4 to 600 and as seats booked the price hike(increased) seat by seat).
I am sorry you can no do anything on this matter. You have choice book tatkal ticket in other express trains.

ReplyDeleteI booked my ticket for 27-May-2014, confirmation was sent to me by sms with seat no. but when i went to station then suddenly it was came to knew train is cancelled. I suffered a lot & i took bus on that day.
Station master told me amount will refund automatically. He said don't worry about amount.
Today i had word with executive on 139, he said ticket should be cancelled online with in 72 hours but on ticket it was not mentioned.
Amount was 2942/-
Today i filled the TDR & its showing TDR entered, kindly let me know i'll get my amount or not.
As you said TDR already entered, It means the refund process started. You may check the process through TDR Status.

Hi Pavan,
DeletePremium Tickets booking available before between 10 to 15 days. As per rules the booking rights also reserved by railway authority if they want booking may open before 2-5 days.
My advice is keep try to book tickets twice in a everyday.
