Railway Introduce announced Many Premium Trains, Due to
Dynamic Rates (High Rates in Compared with Other Trains). These trains
have Unique features compares to Other Express/Super fast trains.
This fully reserved service is aimed to meet the heavy demand for Rail travel during holidays/busy season on popular routes. It is primarily targeted at that segment of passengers, who are willing to pay premium fare for confirmed berths at the time of booking itself and enhanced standards of service.
The Unique features of ‘Premium’ train service are:

The Unique features of ‘Premium’ train service are:
- No waitlisted tickets shall be issued.
- There will be no refund except when the train is fully cancelled on railway account due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Adult fare shall be charged for all passengers irrespective of their age. No concession shall be applicable to this train.
- Ticket modifications/issue of duplicate ticket etc. are not permitted.
- Premium special train is being introduced from Railway with dynamic fare pricing.
- Dynamic fare stands for the fare component which may be increased with the subsequent bookings.
- Advance Reservation Period (ARP) of this train will be a maximum of 15 days.
- Agents will not be allowed to book tickets in these trains.
- Dynamic fare shall be charged for confirm as well as RAC passengers.
- Waitlist Ticket Booking is not allowed in this train.
- Upgradation option shall not be applicable in this train.
- Modification is not allowed.
- Only E-tickets will be permitted for booking.
- I-ticket Booking is not allowed in this train.
- E-ticket booking is allowed in General Quota only.
- Tatkal/ Ladies/Other Quota tickets cannot be booked in this train.
- No concession shall be applicable in this train.
- Identity card number of the prescribed proof of identity is required at the time of booking. At least one passenger should travel with his/her ID card in original which was used at the time of booking.
- Vacant berths left at the time of charting will be offered for current booking at current booking counters of train originating stations.
- Cancellation is not allowed. However, ticket can be cancelled only if the train is cancelled.
- Dynamic Fare along with Total fare will be displayed after filling Reservation form. Users must ensure the Fare and Journey Details before proceeding for payment.
One query.....is fare change is applicable for confirmed reserved tickets... Or once tickets are booked the charges are final
ReplyDeleteNo, Once You booked ticket whatever the ticket status, the amount shown at the time of payment is final. That after nothing to pay at the time of journey.

DeleteAs per rules advanced day is 10 but it's also depend on further announcement.
My experience they start booking before 2 days in advanced in some premium trains. So try daily at Morning 8.00 AM.
In special trains advance reservation can be booked before 15 days only

DeleteRAC Means (Reservation Against Cancellation). The RAC ticket will confirmed automatically as Any Confirmed ticket person cancelled his tickets in same route. You will get the Seat and Coach Number after Chart preparation.

If you booked in Premium Trains than there is no Cancellation/Refund option. As per rules no one can get refund if he/she cancelled ticket in case of the premium train.

ReplyDeleteRAC means reservation against cancellation. In premium TRains case there is no refund if anyone cancelled ticket. So, there is very less cancellation attempts.
DeleteDon't worry RAC passengers in premium get seats. You will get seat number and coach once chart prepared.
ticket fare (1280/- for some destination) at the time of selecting 2A or 3A is totally different after entering passenger details (2800/-). very high variation. why it shows less fare before entering passenger details.

Just login and make your route in plan my travel, Click on book now option and fill the reservation form and than press Go button , After this there is Final Page you will get the actual Fare amount. If you want to book than select bank and press Make Payment Otherwise Click on Replan button OR you may also choose logout.

It has been noticed that Special Trains are normally very late reaching at the destinations.Is this problem not with these premium special trains.

ReplyDeleteSuppose there are seats vacant ( ex 50 vseats in 3rd ac) from a to b after chart preperation . as per rule it ( vacant)will be offered at current reservation counter.
i have two question:-
a) This is applicable at all stations from where train has halt( commercial) or only at originating station?
b) the ticket fare will still be dynamic in nature with higher trend or they will offer it at the base rate?

ReplyDeletePlease tell me the chances of RAC7/8 getting confirm birth in premium train .for journey date 2 days after. It is long Journey of 36 hours.And also tell if they don't confirm it how will they provide seat to both passenger.
