Delhi: The Congress is catching up with the Bharatiya Janata Party with pictures of vice-president Rahul Gandhi now making its way into the Delhi Metro trains. Taking a dig at the BJP’s “divisive” politics, Mr. Gandhi is seen alongside slogans promoting a culture that promotes unity in diversity.
Earlier it was only the BJP that had aggressively marketed itself on the transport system making sure its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi rides on 30 trains asking people to choose a government led by him. While previously there was no mention of the printer and publisher of the BJP posters, stickers have now been pasted on all of them with the required information so it does not violate model code of conduct rules.
