Bomb Detenctied On Track Between Mukuria Junction and Azamnagar Roadin Katihar Division Of N. F. Railway

Maligaon, (Guwahati), 30 December 2013: Two o­n-duty Patrolman, Shri Jeevan Singh and Shri Mahesh Sah, detected two (02) hand grenades o­n the railway track between Mukuria Jn. and Azamnagar Roadstations (at kilometre 156/7-8) of Katihar Division of N. F. Railway at around 06.55 hours today. The grenades exploded after being removed from track. Later, at kilometre 156/6-7, two (02) more bombs were detected, following which all train movement over the section were stopped. Train movement started after receiving clearance from police at 12.10 hours today.

(6)13248 Capital Express at Katihar station
(7)55707 Katihar – Radhikapur Passenger at at Mukuria Jn. Station
(8)75707 Radhikapur - New Jalpaiguri Passenger at Kachna.
(9)12042 Shatabdi Express at Barsoi Jn. Station
(10) 15609 Avadh Assam Express at Dalkolha station.
(11)15658 Kanchanjungha Express at Kishanganj station.
