Train No. 22913 Mumbai Central –New Delhi Tri- Weekly Premium Special train departing Mumbai Central at 16:00 hrs on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and reaching New Delhi at 07.55 hrs next day is further extended upto 20th July, 2014.

Similarly, Train No. 22914 New Delhi - Mumbai Central Tri- Weekly Premium Special train departing New Delhi at 14.50 hrs on Thursday, Saturday and Monday and arriving Mumbai Central at 06.55 hrs the next day is further extended upto 21^st July, 2014.

The expected heavy rush during ‘Ratha Jatra’ & ‘Ulta Ratha Jatra’ Mela on 29 June, 2014 (Sunday) & 7 July, 2014 (Monday) respectively at Shrirampur (Mahesh), Eastern Railway’s Howrah division will run one pair of EMU special train on both the days between Howrah & Sheoraphuli stations with stoppages of all stations en-route.

Central Railway will operate Mega Block on its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work on Sunday 29.6.2014: -

Vidyavihar-Byculla Up Slow Line From 11.15 Am To 3.15 Pm.

Up slow line services leaving Ghatkopar from 10.54 am to 3.11 pm will be diverted on Up fast line between Vidyavihar and Byculla stations halting at Kurla, Sion, Matunga, Dadar and Parel stations, further will be re-diverted on Up slow line proper at Byculla.

Dn fast line services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 10.08 am to 2.40 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts. Up fast line services leaving Thane from 10.50 am to 3.36 pm will halt at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts.

Up slow line services will not be available at Vidyavihar, Curry Road and Chichpokli stations. However passengers of these stations are permitted to travel via Kurla and Byculla stations in Down direction.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus-Kurla Dn Harbour Line & Vadala Road-Bandra Up And Dn Harbour Lines From 11.10 Am To 3.10 Pm

All Dn harbour line services to Bandra / Andheri leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai from 10.48 am to 3.33 pm and UP harbour line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai leaving Bandra / Andheri from 10.40 am to 4.13 pm will remain suspended.

Dn Harbour line services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai from 10.52 am to 3.13 pm will run via Main Line on Dn slow line up to Byculla halting at all stations and on DN fast line up to Kurla stopping at Parel, Dadar, Matunga and Sion stations and further diverted on Dn Harbour line proper.

All Up and Dn Harbour line services arriving and leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 11.00 am to 4.30 pm will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.

Harbour line passengers for Bandra/ Andheri are permitted to travel via Main Line and Western Railway from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm. Due to these blocks, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while travelling.

Railway has decided to run one pair of Passenger Specials between Kharagpur-Puri-Kharagpur

Rath Yatra Festival, South Eastern Railway has decided to run one pair of Passenger Specials between Kharagpur-Puri-Kharagpur leaving Kharagpur on 28^th June, 2014.

Moreover, one weekly special train is running between Santragachi and Puri and it will also have a run from Santragachi on 28^th June to cater to the needs of the pilgrims going to Puri onRath Yatra.

KHARAGPUR-PURI PASSENGER

The Passenger Special (08045) leaving Kharagpur at 18:40 hours on 28/6/2014 will reach Puri at 04:50 hours, the next day. In the return direction, the Passenger Special (08046) departing Puri at 00:30 hours on 30/6/2014 will arrive Kharagpur, the same day at 11:00 hours.

The Passenger Special consisting of 12 coaches (General Second Class – 10 and Luggage Van -2) will have stoppages at Balasore, Bhadrak, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road and other stations enroute between Kharagpur and Puri.

SANTRAGACHI-PURI WEEKLY SUMMER SPECIAL

Trains number 15610 15708 15707 15983 12407 Diverted due to 12236 New Delhi-Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express accident

The derailment of 12236 New Delhi-Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express between Chhapra Kacheri and Goldenganj stations under Sonpur division and another Goods train in between Mehsi and Chakia stations under Samastipur division of East Central Railway, the following trains will have to be diverted through other route instead of their normal route.

1)15610 Lalgarh – New Tinsukia Avadh Assam Express which left Lalgarh on 23^rd June will be diverted via Gorakhpur – Paniyahwa – Raxaul Jn. – Sitamarhi – Darbhanga instead of its normal route via Hajipur – Muzaffarpur.

2)15708 Amritsar – Katihar Express which left Amritsar on 24^th June will be diverted via Gorakhpur – Paniyahwa – Raxaul Jn. – Sitamarhi – Darbhanga - Samastipur instead of its normal route via Hajipur – Muzaffarpur.

3)15707 Katihar – Amritsar Express leaving Katihar on 25^th June will be diverted via Muzaffarpur – Runnisaidpur – Gorakhpur section instead of its normal route via Barauni – Muzaffarpur – Hajipur.

4)15983 Dibrugarh – Amritsar Express which left Dibrugarh on 24^th June will be diverted via Barauni – Baliakheri – Mughal Sarai – Varanasi instead of its normal route via Barauni – Hajipur - Chhapra Kacheri.

5)15609 New Tinsukia - Lalgarh Avadh Assam Express which left New Tinsukia on 24^thJune will be diverted via Malda Town – Bhagalpur – Kiul – Patna – Mughal Sarai.

Rath Yatra Special trains announced by East Coast Railway is the addition of new point “Bhawanipatna”

The speciality of this year’s Rath Yatra Special trains announced by East Coast Railway is the addition of new point “Bhawanipatna” from where a special train to Puri would be run for Gundicha Yatra.

This train will start from Bhawanipatna at 0830hrs of 28^th June 2014 and reach Puri at 0330hrs on 29^th June 2014. It is planned to run this train via Titlagarh- Balangir- Sambalpur- Angul with stoppages at all en route stations. ECoR’s decision to introduce a special train from Bhawanipatna this year has been widely welcomed.

Further, it may be mentioned that special Gundicha Rath Yatra trains to Puri are being run from Howrah, Visakhapatnam, Palasa, Kharagpur, Kendujhargarh, Bhadrak, Sambalpur, Brahmapur, Paradeep and Cuttack.

All the special trains provided by ECoR are excluding the regular trains running during the period and this year, ECoR connects almost all parts of Odisha including important stations of neighbouring states i.e. West Bengal & Andhra Pradesh. The regular trains from other neighbouring states like Chhatisgarh and Jharkhand are also arriving at the morning at Puri daily.

jumbo block will be taken between Goregaon and Borivali stations from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs on Sunday

Carry out maintenance work of track, signalling & overhead equipments, a jumbo block will be taken between Goregaon and Borivali stations from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs on Sunday i.e 22nd June, 2014 on Up & Down slow lines.

During the period, all Up & Down slow line trains will run on through (i.e. fast) lines between Borivali and Goregaon stations. Due to the block, some up & down local trains will remain cancelled. During the block period trains will be dealt on any of the PF No.3/4/5/6/6A at Borivali.

Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements.

Fortress check against ticketless and irregular travel at Secunderabad station

South Central Railway conducted a fortress check against ticketless and irregular travel at Secunderabad station on 18thJune, 2014. The Check was conducted under the direct supervision of Shri M. Sarjana Rao, Chief Commercial Manager/Passenger Marketing, South Central Railway, Shri P. Ravi Padi, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Secunderabad Division, SCR.

148 Ticket checking staff along with 15 Railway Protection Force personnel carried out the drive and checked the tickets of each passenger. During the fortress check, all the exit points at Secunderabad Railway station were plugged to prevent ticketless travellers escaping from the fortress check. 50 Express trains, 10 Passenger trains and 45 MMTS trains were checked.

A total of 1466 persons, comprising of 714 persons travelling without ticket, 598persons travelling irregularly and 154 cases of un-booked luggage were apprehended. An amount of Rs. 6.13 Lakh was realised towards penalty from these persons.

Railway has been running two weekly Premium Special Trains between Kamakhya and New Delhi since 16^th April, 2014 for 12 trips and between Kamakhya and Bangalore Cantonment from 7^th June 2014 for 4 trips each way in up and down direction. So far ten trips of 02503/02504 between Kamakhya and New Delhi and two trips of 02510 / 02509 between Kamakhya and Bangalore Cantonment have run.

At present, bookings for the 02503 ex Kamakhya on 25.06.2014 and 02.07.2014 and for 02504 ex New Delhi on 26.06.2014 & 03-07-2014 and bookings for the 02510 ex Kamakhya on 21.06.2014 & 28.06.2014 and for 02509 ex Bangalore Cantonment on 24.06.2014 & 01-07-2014 are open and can be done through the website of IRCTC

Mega Block on its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work on Sunday 22.6.2014

BYCULLA-VIDHYAVIHAR DN SLOW LINE FROM 11.20 AM TO 3.20 PM

Dn slow line services leaving Byculla from 11.04 am to 3.21 pm will be diverted on Dn fast line between Byculla and Vidyavihar stations halting at Parel, Dadar, Matunga, Sion and Kurla stations and further re-diverted to Dn slow line proper.

UP fast line locals leaving Thane station from 11.21 am to 3.25 pm will halt at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their scheduled halts and will arrive destination15 minutes behind schedule.

Dn fast line services leaving Mumbai CST from 11.15 am to 2.51 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations in addition to their scheduled halts and will arrive destination 20 minutes behind schedule.

All slow locals arriving & leaving CST between 11.00 am to 4.00 pm will arrive their destination 10 minutes behind schedule.

KURLA-VASHI UP AND DN HARBOUR LINES FROM 11.00 AM TO 3.00 PM

DN Harbour line services to Panvel/Belapur/Vashi leaving from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 10.23 am to 3.01 pm and UP Harbour line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus leaving Panvel/Belapur from 10.20 am to 3.04 pm will remain suspended.

However special local trains will run on Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus – Kurla and Vashi – Panvel sections during the block period.

Harbour line passengers are also permitted to travel via Trans Harbour / Main line from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.

Due to these blocks, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while travelling. They are also requested to avoid travelling on foot board, roof top of locals and not to board extremely over crowded trains. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.

Railways have decided to run 12 Superfast Special trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Allahabad to clear the extra rush of Passengers. The details are as under -

04116 Weekly Superfast Special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 13.20 hrs on every Saturday from 21.6.2014 to 26.7.2014 (6 trips) and will arrive Allahabad at 13.30 hrs next day.

04115 Weekly Superfast Special will leave Allahabad at 12.30 hrs on every Friday from 20.6.2014 to 25.7.2014 (6 trips) and will arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 11.50 hrs next day.

HALTS: Igatpuri, Nasik Road, Manmad, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Lalitpur, Jhansi, Orai, Pokhrayan, Kanpur.

COMPOSITION: one AC-2 Tier, one AC-3 Tier, 8 Sleeper class, 7 General Second class and 2 General second class cum guard's brake vans.

Railways have decided to extend the run of premium superfast special train no 04823/04824 between Jodhpur & Yeshwantpur. Accordingly, Train No. 04823 Jodhpur -Yeshwantpur superfast premium special train will depart from Jodhpur at 14: 35 hrs on 22nd June, 2014 and reach Yeshwantpur at 04:00 hrs on 24th June 2014.

Similarly, Train No. 04824 Yeshwantpur – Jodhpur superfast special train will depart from Yeshwantpur at 15:00 hrs on 24th June, 2014and arrive Jodhpur at 05:00 hrs on 26th June 2014.

The train will halt at Falna, Palanpur, Ahmedabad, Surat, Pune and Hubli station in both directions.

The train will have AC II Tier, AC III Tier & Second class sleeper Coaches.

I. Secunderabad-Kakinada Town- Secunderabad Jansadharan Special Trains (via., Nalgonda, Guntur, Bhimavaram Town):

Train No. 07105 Secunderabad - Kakinada Town Jansadharan Special train will depart Secunderabad at 10:40 pm on 20^thJune, 2014 (Friday) and arrive Kakinada Town at 11:00 am on the next day.

In the return direction, Train No.07106 Kakinada Town - Secunderabad Jansadharan Special train will depart Kakinada Town at 07:15 pm on 22^nd June, 2014 (Sunday) and arrive Secunderabad at 09:45 am on the next day.

Two Premium Superfast Special trains between Secunderabad and Hazrat Nizamuddin in order to clear extra rush of passengers during summer season.

Accordingly, Train No. 02723 Secunderabad-HazratNizamuddin Premium Superfast Special train will depart Secunderabad at 11:55 am on 29^th June, 2014 (Sunday) and arrive HazratNizamuddin at 01:25 pm on the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 02724 Hazrat Nizamuddin - Secunderabad Superfast Premium Special train will depart HazratNizamuddin at 07:20 pm on 30^th June, 2014 (Monday)and arrive Secunderabad at 08:55 pm on the next day.

These trains will have only five stoppages enroute viz., Ramagundam, Nagpur, Bhopal, Jhansi and Agra Cantonment. These trains will have 17 Coaches viz., two AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, ten Sleeper Class, one Pantry Car and two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van coaches.

Due to upgradation work of Delhi P.R.S. (Computerized Passenger Reservation System), the PRS Enquiry will remain closed for 2.30 hours from 11.30 p.m. on 20.06.2014 to 02.00 a.m. on 21.06.2014. Therefore, PRS related enquiry of Delhi PRS through IVRS/Touch Screen, Call Centre (Telephone no. 139) and functioning of current reservation bookings through computer will also remain closed during the period.

While in the return direction, the 02056 Lok Manya Tilak(T) - Varanasi - Lok Manya Tilak(T) Superfast Jansadharan Special train will depart from Varanasi on 24.06.14(Tuesday) (single trip) at 08.10 p.m. to reach Lok Manya Tilak(T) at 11.20 p.m. the next day.

Consisting of 21 general class coaches with luggage vans, the 02055/02056 Jansadharan Special train will stop at Nasik Road, Bhusawal, Khandwa, Itarsi and Manikpur stations enroute in both directions.
