Railway has decided to run o­ne pair of Passenger Specials between Kharagpur-Puri-Kharagpur

Rath Yatra Festival, South Eastern Railway has decided to run o­ne pair of Passenger Specials between Kharagpur-Puri-Kharagpur leaving Kharagpur o­n 28^th June, 2014.

Moreover, o­ne weekly special train is running between Santragachi and Puri and it will also have a run from Santragachi o­n 28^th June to cater to the needs of the pilgrims going to Puri o­nRath Yatra. 

KHARAGPUR-PURI PASSENGER

The Passenger Special (08045) leaving Kharagpur at 18:40 hours o­n 28/6/2014 will reach Puri at 04:50 hours, the next day. In the return direction, the Passenger Special (08046) departing Puri at 00:30 hours o­n 30/6/2014 will arrive Kharagpur, the same day at 11:00 hours.

The Passenger Special consisting of 12 coaches (General Second Class – 10 and Luggage Van -2) will have stoppages at Balasore, Bhadrak, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road and other stations enroute between Kharagpur and Puri.

SANTRAGACHI-PURI WEEKLY SUMMER SPECIAL

The Santragachi-Puri Weekly Special’s run has been extended upto September 2014(27.9.2014) and it will run every Saturday from Santragachi including o­n 28^thJune,2014 at 19.00 hrs. for the benefit of passengers going for Rath Yatra festival.
