Secunderabad Division of South Central Railway conducted a fortress check against ticketless and irregular travel at Warangal and Kazipet Railway stations on 12th June, 2014.
The Check was conducted under the direct supervision of Assistant
Commercial Manager / Ticket Checking, Secunderabad Division, South
Central Railway.
97 Ticket checking staff along with Railway Protection Force Personnel carried
out the drive and checked the tickets of each passenger. During the
fortress check, all the exit points at Warangal and Kazipet Railway
stations were plugged to prevent ticketless travellers escaping from the
fortress check.
A total of 940 persons, comprising of 358 persons travelling without ticket, 438 persons travelling irregularly and 144 cases of un-booked luggage were apprehended. An amount of Rs. 4.32 Lakh was realised towards penalty from these persons.Read More Press Release OR Click Here for Visit Source page
