N.F. Railway has been running a weekly Premium AC Special Train

N.F. Railway has been running a weekly Premium AC Special Train between Kamakhya and New Delhi since 16th April, 2014. So far, six trips have run and a total of about 3500 passengers have travelled each way. At present, bookings for the 02503 ex Kamakhya o­n 28.05.2014 and 4.06.2014 and 02504 ex New Delhi o­n 29.05.2014 are open and can be done through the website of IRCTC (www.irctc.co.in.).

N.F.Railway is planning to introduce another Premium Weekly Special Train, this time between Kamakhya and Bangalore Cantonment. The first trains would leave Kamakhya o­n 07.06.2014 and Bangalore Cantonment o­n 10.06.2014 and trains for the subsequent three trips have also been notified. The train from Kamakhya will leave at 20.30 hrs. o­n Saturdays and reach Bangalore Cantt. at 22.30 hrs. o­n Mondays. The train from Bangalore Cantt. will leave at 10.45 hrs. o­n Tuesdays and reach Kamakhya at 11.50 hrs. o­n Thursdays. The trains will have commercial stoppages at Malda Town, Kharagpur, Bhubaneswar, Vijaywada and Katpadi. There will be  5 Sleeper Class, 5 AC Three Tier, 1 combined AC 1st & AC-II Tier, 1 Pantry Car & 2 SLR coaches.
