Special trains between Darbhanga and Bangalore City for COMED-K Test

The East Central Railway (ECR) has decided to run a pair of special trains between Darbhanga and Bangalore City for one trip in each direction for the benefit of students taking the COMED-K examinations. Accordingly, the train will depart from Darbhanga at 4.20 pm on Thursday (May 8) and reach Bangalore at 11 pm on Saturday. In the return direction, the train will leave Bangalore city at 5 am on Monday (May 12) and reach Darbhanga at 1 pm on Wednesday. 

In order to commission Phase III yard arrangement at Birur junction and for doubling of track between Birur and Shivani section, South Western Railway has decided to cancel/regulate/reschedule the following trains:
■ Chamarajnagar-Shimoga Town Passenger train (No 56272) will be regulated at Kadur station for 65 minutes on May 13 and 14
■ Shimoga Town-Mysore Passenger train (No 56269) will be rescheduled to leave 40 minutes late (11 am) from Shimoga Town on May 13 and 14.
■ Bangalore City-Shimoga Town Fast Passenger train (No 56917) is cancelled on May 15. So, the coaches of the train, which is a link, will not be attached at Bangalore city to the Bangalore City-Hubli fast passenger.
■ Shimoga Town-Bangalore City Fast Passenger train (No 56917) is cancelled on May 15.
