Railway to stop running of two trains from July

The railways will permanently withdraw the services of two passenger trains, running since pre-Independence period via Patna Junction, on Howrah-Delhi route. The two trains, Howrah-New Delhi Lal Quila Express and Howrah-Delhi Janata Express, presently running with less number of bogies and hardly catering to the needs of common passengers.

A notification to this effect has been issued by Railway Board, informed ECR CPRO Arvind Rajak.
